MUSIC ART: MUSIK I LEJET

I was commissioned by the annual, Danish music festival Musik i Lejet to create an art piece for the festival. The design is inspired by golden Scandinavian summer nights by the ocean, where the festival takes place.
 

The piece also acts as a tribute to the many volunteers who help run the festival. Hence the slogan “Ingen frivillige - ingen festival”, meaning "No volunteers - no festival”. My bead art was first exhibited at the festival in 2014 and has since been on display every summer.
